Delivery Policy

At Sessa Interiors, we aim to provide a smooth and professional delivery experience across Ireland for both locally sourced and made-to-order furniture and lighting products.

1. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver throughout Ireland. Certain remote or restricted-access locations may require manual delivery review prior to dispatch. If additional logistical arrangements are required, our team will contact you before delivery is scheduled.


2. Delivery Types

Locally Sourced Products

Locally sourced products are typically delivered within the estimated timeframe displayed on the product page. Delivery timelines may vary depending on supplier availability, scheduling, and seasonal demand.

Made-to-Order & Custom Products

Made-to-order and custom products are produced specifically for each order. Estimated lead times are displayed on the relevant product pages and may vary depending on production schedules, shipping, customs clearance, and logistics conditions.

All delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and should not be treated as guaranteed delivery dates.


3. Premium Delivery Experience

Where applicable, selected products include our Premium Delivery Experience, which may include:

  • White glove delivery to your room of choice

  • Assembly service

  • Removal and recycling of heavy packaging materials

Availability of these services may vary depending on product type, delivery location, building access, and supplier arrangements.


4. Customer Access Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access for delivery and installation, including:

  • Adequate doorway, hallway, stairway, and lift access

  • Sufficient room dimensions for product movement and assembly

  • Accurate delivery information at the time of purchase

Product dimensions are provided on product pages to assist customers in verifying access suitability before ordering.

If delivery or assembly cannot be completed due to restricted access, incorrect delivery information, or customer unavailability, additional delivery or assembly charges may apply.


5. Stair Access & Lift Requirements

For large furniture items, lift access may be required for upper-floor deliveries. Where lift access is unavailable and manual stair access is required beyond standard conditions, additional charges may apply depending on the size, weight, and complexity of the delivery.


6. Delivery Scheduling

Customers will be contacted prior to delivery to arrange a suitable delivery timeframe where applicable.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept delivery during the agreed timeframe.


7. Inspection Upon Delivery

Deliveries Without Assembly

Customers must inspect products upon delivery and report any visible damage or missing items within 24 hours of delivery.

Deliveries With Assembly Included

Products delivered with assembly service will typically be inspected during installation by the delivery/assembly team.


8. Product Inspection Before Dispatch

To help minimise delivery issues, products may be inspected at our warehouse or storage facility prior to final delivery. This additional quality-control step helps identify visible transit damage before products reach customers.


9. Delays Beyond Our Control

While we aim to meet all estimated delivery timelines, delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, including:

  • Supplier delays

  • Shipping or freight disruptions

  • Customs clearance

  • Weather conditions

  • Seasonal demand periods

  • Transport or logistics issues

We appreciate customer understanding in such situations and will always aim to keep customers updated where possible.


10. Refused or Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to customer absence, restricted access, incorrect information, or refusal of delivery without valid cause, additional delivery and/or storage charges may apply before re-delivery can be arranged.
